You might recognise some of these girls already – Leanne Moore as the winner of You’re A Star in 2008, Kim Hayden from The Voice of Ireland as well as from Paddy Casey’s song Out of Control, and Michele McGrath – an Andrea Roche model and also from pop group Industry.

This new band is the new project of a Eurovision veteran Linda Martin, who has had an internationally successful music career, managed by Louis Walsh.

We shot the video in the studio with 3 5600K LED lights, Canon 70D with stabiliser and also with a running slider. The whole production was edited and graded in FCPX. We synced up all footage using FCPX multi-cam feature and did the colour grade manually using the on-board colour correction tools. Final format was 1080P H.264 format with optimisation for online streaming and playback.

We wish all the girls the very best in their future and know you will be hearing a lot more from these girls very soon.

Liir – Smells Like Teen Spirit (Cover)

Joey Lee Lawlor known nationwide for his cover band “Walk The Line” has released his first single “The Sky Has Never Changed”. The single reached No.1 in the Irish County charts and the music video has recently been picked up by “The Phil Mack International Country Show” on Sky Tv channel 191. It will be aired from the 25th of January.

We Recorded the single back in June/July and shot the music video in October. We used some analogue vintage plugins on the mix such as “Kramer Tape Machine” and “CLA” compressors. This gave it a great old school sound.

The Video was shot using a canon 60D. Edited and graded in FCPX.  We used some stock footage for the train scenes and also got to make use of FCPX’s new “optical flow” feature on some of the kid scenes.

We look forward to seen Joey’s video and single going out to over half a million viewers on the 25th of January.

At the tender age of 15 April has launched her first EP “This Time” which consists of songs all written by herself. Her first single and video “ONE DAY” deals with an issue that affects all people of all ages.

We shot the video early May 2014 in the Dublin Mountains at Joey Lee (Aprils fathers) home place. Most the shots were done with Canon 6D and a Canon 50mm EF lens. We used a 50-70mm lens for some of the high shots done with the crane.
All shots were graded and edited in FCPX 10.1.1 then sent to compressor for optimized HD streaming for YouTube.

April is currently climbing up the charts with her EP and we would love to see her get in the Top 20. charts. We also Mastered the EP so would mean world to see it in the top 20 charts for us too. Please support her, us and the Irish music scene 🙂

A great start to the year with our first Single Release of the year topping the iTunes charts and staying at No.1 for 4 days straight!

J Casey came to us about 4 months ago with an album of songs, he played them all for me in the studio one day and one song in particular jumped out at me. I loved everything about it! The progressions, the melodies and most of all the way his lyrics captivated me from start to finish. I knew after first hearing the song that the lyrics were very personal to him. He then went on to tell me how it was about losing his Dad to suicide and also losing a close friend. I told him there and then that that song had to be his first Single Release. It meant the world to me seen him getting No.1 in the iTunes Singer/Songwriter charts, he deserves it and so much more. Download his single below

I really feel that this year will be a big year for him, with record labels and promoters already in touch with him its only a matter of time till he will be sharing the stage with the likes of Ed Sheeran etc.

J Casey – Melody Mashup

Music video by Simon Sweeney performing his first original single ‘Invisible”.
Simon Sweeney, an independent singer/songwriter from Co. Kildare Ireland releases his first original song Invisible on iTunes on the 26th August 2013 .
Simon wrote this song about his life experiences of loss and grievance of a loved one. We started work on this track with Simon earlier on this year, Simon  had a clear direction with where he wanted to take the song and of course with the song being so personal to him we made sure that was also portrayed in his Video.
We shot the video in The Japanese Gardens and Irish National Stud. Such a beautiful location! We had a crane/Jib for the day which really helped with some of the shots especially the opening shot of the Waterfall. We used a Canon 50mm lens for most the close head-shots and then a 120mm sigma f2.8 for most the landscape shots. We were really happy with the shoot turned out.

We wish Simon the best and will be hearing much more from this guy soon.

Simon’s single Invisible will be out on iTunes etc on the 26th of August so make sure you grab a download!
